Who we are

Biovera is a UK-based research peptide company currently in pre-launch. We are operated by an individual data controller based in the United Kingdom. References to "Biovera", "we", "us" or "our" in this policy refer to that controller.

For any data-related enquiries, contact us at privacy@biovera.co.uk.

What data we collect

At this stage, we collect only the following:

  • Your email address, submitted voluntarily via our waitlist form
  • The date and time of submission
  • A source label identifying it came from our coming-soon page

We do not collect names, payment information, browsing history, or any special category data.

Why we collect it

Your email is collected solely to notify you when Biovera launches — including early access details and our initial product catalogue. We will not use it for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

The legal basis for this processing is consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You provided that consent by submitting the form.

How we store your data

Email addresses are stored securely in Supabase, a third-party database platform. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf and their infrastructure is hosted within the EU. We have no other third-party data processors at this time.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other parties.

How long we keep it

We will retain your email address until Biovera launches or for a maximum of 24 months from submission — whichever comes first. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to erasure")
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO (the UK's data protection authority)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@biovera.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

This site uses a single item of localStorage (a browser storage mechanism) to remember whether you have already joined the waitlist. This prevents the form from showing again after submission. No third-party cookies or tracking scripts are used.

Changes to this policy

As Biovera develops, this policy will be updated to reflect any new data practices. The "last updated" date at the top will change accordingly. We will not retroactively change how we use data already collected without contacting you first.
